After a chemical plant explodes in Dalian, a team of brave firefighters have to deal with the series of fires that resulted from it which threatens the city. The incident started due to a calculation error, causing the oil pipeline in the city harbour to explode. Now, it is up to a disgraced firefighter captain, who has to put aside his grievances, to work together with his former subordinate to race against time and save everyone within the fires' vicinity.
