Five battled-hardened soldiers, made up of Lt. Goodson and his unit, Eugene, Butchie, Kirk and Tappert, are assigned to hold down a French chateau during World War II. It seems an easy task at first, that is until they encounter strange happenings in the house that was formerly occupied by the Nazi high command. The supernatural events are soon explained after they discover a journal that reveals the house once belonged to the Helwig family, whom the Nazi had slain. The soldiers find themselves descending into madness as the Helwigs haunt them in revenge for their family`s brutal slaughter.
