Dodo Razak just wants to be a good father to Kartika, even though he has a mental capacity of a child. In reality, it is Kartika who often has to care and look out for her balloon-seller father and nonetheless, they are happy together. They are forced to separate when Dodo is arrested and charged for the rape and murder of little girl Melati. He is imprisoned in Cell 7 that is packed with hardened criminals. In time, even the wardens and prison inmates have doubts about whether Dodo was even capable of the crimes he is accused of.
