A victim of domestic violence in Sydney, Anggie decides to leave her boyfriend. Drunk and injured, she falls in front of a mosque and is rescued by Fatimah, a mosque caretaker. Fatimah`s kindness touches Anggie, especially when she hears Fatimah recite verses from the Quran. From then on, Anggie asks to be taught about Islam. Her decision to embrace Islam marks a turning point in her life but she faces rejection from her family and those around her.
