Set in the 1960s, Parasakthi is a historical political drama inspired by the true events of the 1965 Anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu. The story centers on a complex leader named Chezhiyan (Sivakarthikeyan), who becomes deeply entangled in a student-led movement that threatens the livelihood of the people in Madras State.
