For various reasons, Angsar, a young Kazakh boy, has never had a horse of his own—until one day, when his father’s friend secretly brings him a horse named Feilaike. While Angsar and his older brother compete for the chance to ride it, Flyke is injured. As Ansar nurses the horse back to health, the two form a deep bond. He also befriends a young girl named Xiaomeili. After learning about Xiaomeili and her father, Ansar decides to ride Feilaike and help fulfil her dream of finding him.
